The Glamorgan County Council Staff Club was a beloved pub located on Westgate Street in the heart of Cardiff, nestled in a historic red brick corner building just across from the Millenium Stadium. Primarily frequented by county council employees, it was affetionately known simply as The Staff Club. It was a welcoming space where people could drop by during opening hours and often find familiar faces. making it a cherished second home for many.

In October 2007, after nearly 50 years of operation, the pub was unexpectedly closed. At the time it had been recognized as the Cardiff branch's Club of the Year by The Campaign For Real Ale (CAMRA) and boasted around 6,000 members. Despite various efforts and hopes for its revival, all attempts to reopen the club were unsuccessful. By the end of 2008, just a year after its closure, the building was sold to a company with plans to transform it into a trendy bar or music venue.

In 2012, the venue finally reopened its doors, now serving as a stylish moidern bar that attracts a new generations of patrons.
